There was a thread on this, but despite my best efforts with the site search function I can’t locate it.
The latest Handley Page Association Newsletter reveals that the wing sections found in a roof structure and now safely at RAF Stafford are five 25-foot sections. Four from lower starboard and one from lower port wing. What the significance of “25 foot” is , I don’t know. Is it a structural section of the aircraft or the dimension of the roof the sections were incorporated into?
Apparently the RAF Museum also has an upper outer wing section, some interplane struts and a set of elevators.

Quite so if I had been only searching on titles, but I was trying content (eg O/400, o/400, 0/400) as well. One of life’s little mysteries.

Perhaps the wording of the original subject title/caption is/was a bit too non-specific?

The 25 foot length was the original section length and was incorporated into the roof as a full length, it wasn’t cut to fit the roof.
Anon.

I think it would be referring to the length of the spars in that section of the lower main plane.
