REAL or FAKE

I’d like to start a thread with weird unusual or faked pictures, if you have one tucked away post it and people can guess if its a fake or real..

I’ll start off with this one that some may have seen before….:)

I talked to an old bloke who said he knew where a Corsair had come down during the war. The machine had forced landed and was intact on it’s wheels. The timber had grown all round it and was virtually impossible to see from the air. The area was a firing range of tens of thousands of hectars and was off limits to the general public. The people that had a lease on the side of this area supposedly had the log books from the Aircraft. I spent a bit of time flying round looking in likely places, nothing sighted. This was nearly thirty years ago now and heard nothing since, more than likely another story, I thought at the time it was worth a look around though.

If it’s fake, then ask yourself how did they manage to manouver it through all
those trees, it would be kind of hard to stand it on it’s side:D

Still seems to have rubber on the tail wheel. I don’t know where it was found, or when, but “found” is relative, reported, or filmed is the more appropriate word. People in Russia go to the woods quite a lot for mushrooms and hunting, or for playing paintball.

It looks to be in good condition for something that’s been exposed to the elements for sixty years!!!

I just find it strange or remarkable that of the quality of the paintwork and airframe even through all those years of Russian winters also in a Forrest why hasn’t anything grown through her.

Pretty good fake if it is but is there such a thing as unexplored forrest? It’s hard to believe there are spots on this earth where people have not trod for that long? There is something about the insignia that doesn’t sit right.

It’s filmed somewhere in Russia. ENTIRELY possible for people to have not set foot in parts of it for YEARS!

Real. Pretty sure this was recovered by one of the big warbird experts (possibly Jim Pearce).

Surely this should be over in Historic?
