Realy tough question

Hi

I have a question that i cant solve so i need your help.

See How come if you have big stick and you cut it in half you get two small sticks….where as if you have a big dog and you cut it in half you dont get two small dogs????!!
Belive me gys you dont..you just get two halves of big dog and lots of blood and guts…so my plan to turn my german shepard into a two puggs failed..i realy dont get it…it works with sticks.

And also hypoteticly …if in some country they would eat chopping boards ,,,what would they chopp them on????!!!
