Dimmock’s Sea Hawk, XE462, nosediving at the 1958 Farnborough air show, in the Daily Sketch.
And he ended his career as Flag Officer, Naval Air Command.

I remember viewing this happen whilst ‘freeloading’ at the Laffans Plain end at Farnborough.
It actually crashed on to the hard standing at nearby Blackbushe and was caught on camera I am sure by one of the many spotters drawn to Blackbushe to capture the exotic foreign visitors to Farnborough.
As schoolboys do, I picked up a piece of souvenir from the Seahawk the next day.
