Yes, I am well aware. However, many aircraft are parked overnight at various airports. Surely, a quick once over would be in order.

Pull the garden hose out, and a soft brush and get scrubbin’ away at it…. 😀

I’m only joking with that last comment!

I think that could be the new boy job at BAMG Matthew ?

True – but the aircraft is what the public see, so shouldn’t priority be given to the appearance of those aircraft?

Clean aircraft isn’t on Budget Airlines’ list of priorities though, especially when there isn’t a back-up pool of aircraft to draw from when required.

I agree, it does look very shabby, but it’s probably about to be withdrawn from use anyway so Ryanair won’t be bothered about how dirty it is.

Or how immaculately maintained it is ?!?! 😮

What lens are you using Bod?

I just updated my equipment a couple of weeks ago with the Canon 10D and 100-400mm IS. Really pleased with the results so far, so I’ll be getting to EDI whenever I can. 🙂

Yeh, the narrow gauge fence doesn’t show up with a big lens, it’s more or less invisible.

Great shots! How did you manage the taxi shots through
the fence.?

You can still snap through the fence wire can’t you ? I did not so long ago…

I thought I heard my name being mentioned! 😀

Here’s some of mine from yesterday taken from the Ingliston Showground end. Highlight for me (because primarily I’m a mil spotter) was the rare sight of a US Army RC-12K from the 1st Military Intelligence Battalion at Wiesbaden.

Rarity value on the civvy front was provided by this Ukrainian-registered Falcon 50.

Yes but the flaw lay in a poor quality sticker in the case of the TCX plane, and Air Scotland know about poorly applied graphics as well. Hydraulic seepage is normal AFAIK ?

Indeed.

there will always bee hydraulic leakage from the verticle pipes in the tail.

And fyi andrew, Airbus have this aswell :p

What does the art work on the Lauda 735 represent

I’d guess that the red ‘Tirol’ stickers at the front and rear of the cabin (and I think it says ‘Innsbruck’ under them?) that it’s a promo for the Tyrolean mountain region?
