I was asked on another thread if I have any type of aviation background,which I dont,and it got me to thinking.A large percentage of the guys at rec.aviation.military work in the aerospace industry or in military aviation,yet trying to have a intelligent discussian on any aviation topic with these guys is an exercise in futility.Can you amagine if there were no AFM,rec would be the only alternative,what a scary thought.Dont get me wrong,if I have a question about someones experience with certain military hardware,thats the first place to go,and I always get knowledgable responces from people who work in that area.But as far as opinions go,these guys are the biggest collection of jokers Ive ever seen.
