Hi Folks,
I’ve recently been given the following;
W.Vinten 6″ F2.8 AEC Type 536 Auto Exposure control unit with a Elcan Lens (Canada) attached to a Type 360/140A 70mm Reconnaissance camera body.
My question is this,
can anyone point me in the right direction to find some details and images. I’ve done the usual search and found a mention or two but I can’t find any mention to what aircraft they were fitted to, any images of the unit I have or what film canister was fitted to it. I have a F95 canister which seems to fit fine but it’s only a guess that it’s actually correct.
Best regards and many thanks in advance.

For those who don’t know, ELCAN is an acronym for Ernst Leitz Canada. Great optics ranging from made in Canada Leica cameras to combat sites on our combat rifles.
