Recording from radio onto computer

My Sound Manager S/w (RealTek) has a record button, hit that and it records whatever is on, from the net or a CD or a mic. However, the files are humungously massive.
If it is a Radio show you need, it is probably far better to search the net, there is possibly a podcast or a torrent for it somewhere.
What exactly are you looking for?

In that case you could connect the audio output directly to the mic input, it might need impedance matching though, you can use a preamp for that.

if you have a microphone, just use the sound recorder to record it? as long as u have sound playing through speakers
