There are many data plates on a Spitfire.
Could you rebuild a Spitfire from each data plate?

Amazing stuff.
How would it have ended up with two different CBAF numbers? Perhaps a wing swap from another A/C?
One is from the tail group assembly, the other from the mod plate on frame 5 firewall. Neither are the construction number and data plate for the fuselage.
There are many data plates on a Spitfire.
