Wasn’t sure which section to put this in so I thought this would probably do.
I am trying to locate a photo of the Red Arrows that I use to have as a poster on my bedroom wall when I was younger. It was one of a series of photos taken by another plane just in front of the team as they looped. It would have been very early 80s, Hawks, not Gnats. Anyone know of these photos?

Yes, he was in the series “Once in a lifetime ” He took the slide film to have it processed in Paris. The system was later adopted for use in a Hawk underwing pod looking rearwards for the Round Britain Dash film.

I remember watching the documentary on getting the photo – Wasn’t he in a Hunter T-bird with the camera operated remotely mounted in the chute housing?

He did also did rather a nice book as well featuring more of his photographs of the Reds. I have no connection to the seller btw.
