This would be the ex-Lefty Gardner “White Lightning” and is under rebuild by Ezell Aviation in Texas.

4 airworthy B-25s in europe…. 0 Mosquitos, 0 Beaufighters, 0 Hampdons, 0 Wellingtons, O Whitleys, 0 Beauforts… so how come all these American built aircraft of WW2 still grace our skys. its not that i do not like the B-25 or eny other American warbird, i think they are all great….
Because the Americans found work for a lot of these planes after WWII, which have kept the number of survivors high. Here in Europe we rather wanted pots and pans than fighters and bombers after five years war, and half the continent in ruins…

I suspect the B25 might make an appearance at the Red Bull Air Race event at Longleat… It made a few flypasts at the Barcelona event.. I’ll try to find a few photos.

TAXI FOR GAYSD!!!
its a funny one ‘grumpy’ as there was rumour that it may stay in the uk, but it has attended any airshows since 2004 i think (i’m sure it attended ‘legends and biggin hill that year). if u look on the fhc website it says that they are restoring a b25j, while from my recollection ‘grumpy’ is a b25d?

“FHC collections grumpy”
Grumpy is not owned by FHC anymore and has not flown for at least a Year. Now owned by Paul Allen in the USA but parked at North Weald (?).
It will be a shame to lose this one to the states !!..
Ummm… Paul Allen OWNS the Flying Heritage Collection….

No, the Red Bull B-25 has been around a while. It features (briefly) in the 2002 film Dark Blue World.
You can find more about it at the Flying Bulls website.
