Following up on the article on Hangar 8 in the February 2017 issue of Flypast an impression of this impressive building and collection in September 2014. At the time the larger aircraft such as the DC-6 and Mitchell were being serviced in the nearby Hangar 7 and could not be approached for pictures.
The impressive glass structure of Hangar 8, combined with the very shiny finishes of the aircraft and racing cars, didn’t make photography very easy because of the numerous reflections.
