Red eye on dogs ! ! !

I know its an aviation forum but when I have a problem its not very often I dont find an answer here.

Any tips to avoid or to rectify

I have been looking around for some eyes to cut and paste.

Try taking photos of sheep with flash. You’ll see what I mean when you see them.

Black Sheep Squadron. Just to keep it on-topic for aviation.

Most Camera software (Discs supplied) or other photo SW have a red eye tool. Photoshop is my default tool and it’s red eye tool is super. Even in “Paint” you could place a black circle/dot over the red bit, as the red bit is the diameter of the pupil. Other animals don’t have round Pupils though….so back to P/shop!

On most cameras with build-in flash there is a “red-eye” function. This will let your camera flash twice rapidly. The first flash is to make the eyes get used to the flash, and the second for shooting the actual photo.

Another option to avoid red eyes is to shoot without flash.

If after that there are still red eyes, then the subject probably has allergies. I suggest Allerfre, works miracles for me. 😀
