Havent tried CFS3 online yet but still get fed up with shooters in the no-shooting games and its not very realistic when som bozo creams past you in Zero doing Mach 3….upwards !!!!!.

Normally do this at least once a month on the forum. Be good to get some extra’s in cos it is really quite good fun and its better than playing the pc opponents cos they always fly the same pattern and you can knock em out quite easily….stick some one else on the other end tho’ and its a different matter !

I play CFS 3 online and no matter how much i play people cheat. You pass someone and then go into a hard turn and by the time your in that turn they are behind you grilling your behind with lead.

Ran round the shops this afternoon but none had a copy of CFS2, so I’ll have to pass.
Interestingly one shop already had a pre-owned copy of CFS3 for sale at £15, but I managed to resist.

No worries mate. if you wanna practice tonight i’m opening up a game around no 50 called flypast tonight at 22.00 local…thats 20.00 Uk…for an hour or so if anyone wants to blast at me.

oh…forgot…I use the MS Sidewinder but withought force feedback and that does a pretty good job.

You do need the CD in the drive. Unless, of course, you download the “CFS2 no cd crack” from any of the million places that www.google.com would find…..

BTW, you dont need to have the cd in your cd drive to run CFS2, so you can just borrow it from someone and install it, and you have to to play when ever you want.

Now playing CFS2 with the standard stuff is reasonable but its a bladdy site more fun if you run a few non standard planes. One of the best site to download from is

Go to the CFS2 section and you have something in the region of 60 pages each holding around 10 planes, of free…YES I SAID FREE !! planes for CFS2. They are zipped files and are an absolute doddle to load and run in the game.

unfortunately if you down load a plane from any site on the web, unless they other guys you playing against have it on their pc but not necessarily flying it, they should see you in your pride and joy…if howver, they havent got it in their ‘library’ it will default to a standard CFS2 plane.

Whether they have it or not, does not effect you flying it tho’ !

Microsoft Combat Flight Simulator 2. Thats all you need other than a PC and internet connection. To buy it shouldn’t be more than £25 – or you can always borrow a copy off a friend. Great fun, great challenge, and a great waste of time. Count me in. In the sun.
