Reflector Gun Sights

I picked up a couple of gun sights today, one is a Projector type 1 mark 1 and is dated 1944 but has the broard Arrow
The other is a Reflector Gun Sight Mk 2, dated 1943 and Air Ministry crown

My question is what’s the difference, between Gun Sight and Projector ?
