I just received my copy of the Billericay District Resident Association newsletter and came across this nice article regarding a new memorial to Sqn Ldr Reg Ferriss RAF VR(T) who was the only surviver of a 266 RAAF Sqn Wellington crash in 1943 and the founder of 2393 ATC Sqn Billericay.
Attached is the article.

Just about, hurts the eyes though! I often wondered why some thumbnails can be enlarged and some cannot?

Reg was a great guy, knew him for close on fifty years. Attached is a picture taken at Upwood circa 1955, Reg, CO of Basildon ATC Squadon, far right. Me, pimply youth, far left centre row.

I’ve broken the article down into three sections. See if you have any luck.

Try save target as and it should just be readable.
Blooming ‘eck, do you mean save picture as, open pictures, preview, zoom in? No good, just blurred.

I’d often wondered about the wreath, well past rememberance sunday; I used to “visit” the Billericay Air Cadets (mainly on film nights) in the early 70’s never joined though, I was an Army cadet for a couple of weeks, that put me off.

Your image cannot be enlarged and therefore is not readable!:)
