Reid and Sigrist, the company.

Cannot seem to find the answer, is Mr. Sigrist of R & S the Mr. Fred Sigrist who was such an inspiration with Harry Hawker? Fred was initially employed to look after the engine on Tommy Sopwith’s yacht but graduated to aviation quite quickly.

Harry Hawker and Fred designed the Hawker Tabloid by making rough sketches on the factory floor.

Fred was involved with Harry in the abortive Atlantic crossing with the Sopwith B.1 bomber in 1919.
