At Aero India – officials from Rafael confirmed that the BVR AAM Derby is again actively being considered by India .
Derby has been in service with IN Sea Harriers which replaced the ageing Sea Eagles.
Interestingly there was a large mock-up of the LCA – Marine (with a Derby in each mid wing pylon) – photo below .
