I was up at Stead today and took a few shots that I thought I would share. I hope you enjoy them as much as I did taking them!

My buddy is the FBO at Stead so I am there every year! Get down to the pits and right down to the north end of the pits and the aircraft are flying right at you as they leave the Valley of Speed. Simply awesome!

I visited Reno in 1998. Flew from San Francisco and boy did that 737 climb! First time I’ve had contrails off the wing tips and a feeling of being squished in my seat.
I flew SFO – Reno just after 9/11, total 4 pax on board…boy did that 737 climb 😀

Show was great with some very colourful Furies.
I also did the CAF Airshow and remember being surprised by a Uk based Nimrod being on show.
I was @ Reno 1998, my first race. The Furies are still colorful, and the 737 is still the sportscar of commercial aviation. My dad flew with the hero’s of Col. Bud Day’s Commando Sabre Misty’s of Vietnam, they’re being honored this year at the races. Gonna be a great event. How about a Tiffie over here?

Only if you let us have some of ‘our’ V-12s back!
Did Spitfire (greatest fighter name ever) and Hurricanes all have the RR v-12?

The T-6’s were out in force! The sound of the Vampire passing over is quite impressive!
