Reno races -some vintage stuff

Just another software glitch from the recent series of forum downgrades.

Any reason why this thread is showing zero replies despite having 7 so far?

He has been following the Sanders crew and has some nice footage of the Sea Furies transiting to Reno as well as onboard footage from both the Sea Fury flown by Dennis Sanders and one of the Mustangs so far. He’s going to be updated throughout the week.

His channel also features a lot of vintage aircraft especially the Harvard as he trained with the Canadian Historical Aircraft Association and went solo.

The main commentator bloke needs a slap too. So far (today) he’s referred to every P51 as a B model, identified a SeaFury as a T6, said “We can’t tell who the leader is right now” immediately after Steve Stavrakakis had pointed out Sanders was leading, told us the wing tips on T6’s are going supersonic & called *Dennis Vance* the winner of a Unlimited race when there were still 2 laps to run. Marilyn D & Steve S are doing a great job though.

Great images but spoilt by the moronic generic cr*p rock soundtrack. Do they assume that anyone watching will have a short attention span?

Was watching that when it happened ,good end result in the end.

#37 also lost the right wingtip and aileron

Two jets just touched, no injuries, both landed ok. One needs a new horizontal stab & some sheet metal for the vert. Not sure about the other, multiple pieces seen falling off.
