Two aviation enthusiasts were killed in Ohio on Saturday while testing a newly produced replica of a Wright brothers biplane. The fabric-covered aircraft went down three to four miles south of the Springfield-Beckley Municipal Airport, at about 10:45am. The Ohio State Highway Patrol identified the fliers as Don Gum, 73, of Beaver Creek, Ohio, and Mitchell Cary, 64, of Yellow Springs, Ohio. Both were qualified pilots.

Does this not qualify for the Historic board ? I don’t think there are many aircraft older than this ( even if it is a replica )
The report says they went up to 4-5,000 feet :eek:

Seems rather ironic and pointless doesn’t it? 🙁
