Any of you guys building full replica Spitfires or just cockpit sections we have our first batch of machined items such as Main spar booms for the wing attachments to frame 5.
If anyone would like a set please let us know also if you need any other bits machining all proceeds will go into Whirlwind Replica project. Or any Spitfire items fabricating contact us.NOTE;All items are none airworthy with NO RELEASE paperwork and are for STATIC use only.

We have some excellent machine shop guys doing stuff for us and they tell me they can get cast stuff done also if it warrants it ?.I assume by that either size or quantity.I know they are currently producing Blower casings for Griffons for the tractor pulling fraternaty BUT as always with our stuff guys sorry NOT FOR FLIGHT as ther is no paperwork hence the low costs.Even have a damn good blasting shop up the road who are very carefull and very keen on price if anyone needs any grit blasting doing and they will even coat afterwards for you if you wish.
Nothing like sharing.Might be a thought if someone pulls a register together where those of us like minded can get stuff done.A bit like a supplier or services directory I suppose a bit like an enthusiasts version of yellow pages ?. And no we are to busy to do it other than contribute to it.But I have noticed recently different posts for guys wanting to know where to find certain things or get certain materials etc . Food for thought for someone with time on their hands and computer literate ??

very nice spars….the bottom spars should have 4 holes each side?
Hi Tony yes they got pulled out of the pillar drill for the photo you will also notice the rest of the bottom ones are undrilled were the mount goes for the bottom engine bearer and also the bolt holes for mounting to the bulkhead havent been drilled yet.

Spar booms Frame 5
A photo of the spar booms out of the machine shop today the top ones are finished the bottom pair not finished drilling them yet.Hope to be able to machine other stuff
Next items are Undercarriage pintles.
