Not many German fighters made it as far as Texas….:)
On the other hand, as common with other engines of the period, OX-5s and Hissos didn’t always need battle damage to quit working.

Engine problems, eye witnesses on the course said the engine was puttering on No 4……….

Are you sure it is a reproduction ? Not a rebuilt original airframe ?
