I am researching a WW11 Fighter Pilot, going by the name of Charles Soden, he was the finance of my late Aunt, she lived in Wrexham during the war, so presumably he was stationed near to there. Unfortuneatly this is all we know of him. I am hoping that some one some where will know of this guy, who died we think early on in the war. I am ever hopefull that one of the experts on this forum will be able to come up with some information.
Many thanks in advance

I have a lot of info on I.S.Soden and J.F.Soden,including photographs should you find that they are the ones that you are looking for. They are remembered on Winchcombe war memorial., Gloucestershire. Schooling was in Suffolk so I’m not sure there is a connection with your Charles. There was a third brother who died of Blackwater Fever in Burma during WW2 but his name escapes me at the moment. Their father was the local GP in Winchcombe.
PM me if you need further info.

Charles Soden RIP.
Why not?
To all of you helpful experts. Many thanks for all your assistance I will pass on all this info to my cousin who’s side of the family Soden (what ever he was called) would have been a member of, unfortunatley there is only one person still alive who remembers him, hopefully he might come up with more info, but I dont think he will.
Best wishes to you all.
