Hi, been on the web abit tonight and i knew that the science museum had a massive reserve collection as it featured on our local news, but im sure ive read somewhere that the RAF museum has one? so does that mean the IWM have one to?
Can anyone shead some light, of have they been to any of these places? thats if they allow you to visit them?
Thanks

IWM Reserve Collection = Duxford?
Brian
True indeed!! From small (Essex Aviation Group) acorns!!
Majority of RAFM is at cosford and Stafford….used to really enjoy visiting it when it was at Cardington! FAAM gave their reserve collection collated with main museum but in a seperated building…best thing to do Matt on all these research projects/questions is to google it all…..like….’RAF Museum Reserve’ it would save you time!:)

RAF Reserve collection is at RAF Stafford or it used to be called RAF Stafford, believe that the Michael Beecham hanger at Cosford is for restoration only, there are stored airframes in some of the hangers there though.
The Science museums reserve collection is at Wroughton
