Hi all, Happy New Year – I hope you all have a happy and prosperous 2009!
I was just wondering what Warbird Restorations are ‘due for completion’ during the coming year?
Primarily I’m interested in those being restored to airworthiness and preferably in this country, but static, taxiable projects in other countries can also be included.
Many thanks in advance,
Rich.

On the Spitfire front; MT818/G-AIDN in the UK, PV270 a Mk IX in New Zealand and finally, I hope at last, Seafire XV PR503 in the US.

Isn’t it time for a ‘new’ Spitfire from HFL?

I recall that the impessed French workers during the war allegedly liked to **** in the glue of the German examples .

Did the German machine have metal wings or was that just from French production?
I have just learned that only the French production aircraft had metal wings.
Must admit I was a bit surprised by this.

The Plane Heritage 1944 Piper L4H, a Slingsby Eagle 3 and hopefully 2 other airframes that are in the pipeline – but we’re keeping quiet about those for the moment!
