I can beat it…
A friend is restoring the third Stearman ever made…a C3B, if memory serves (and without checking my book).
It’s so old, it was actually made in California before Lloyd moved back to Kansas.
The plane has been flying until fairly recently. After it was stripped of fabric, the fuselage tubing needed some work, however the wings were in great shape and still had the factory inspection stamp on them.
