I see that the 1/48th Tamiya Lancaster B1 /BIII is being re-released in April.
A revised version of the “Grand Slam” version with prop motors and pre-painted canopy has been available for a few years but this appears to be a re-release of the 1975 original. I wonder if the “Dambusters” version will be available again soon to tie in with the new film.

Glad I sold my original one on ebay last year – somebody paid about £65 for it. Or maybe that was not such a good idea.

Tamiya Lanc
it is a revised release – IIRC new engine nacelles with hooded exhausts, a new FN82 rear turret with 2X .50 cals instead of the FN20 with 4X .303s, new wheels, choice of needle/paddle prob blades and choice of bomb aimers dome – and all in grey plastic
All the old bits remain
Hyperscale will have the full skinny on the release
