Hi again, all – been a while since my last thread on this forum, but I wonder if many of you folks might be aware of the collection of five classic British jets standing forlorn and weathered on Revill’s farm at Bakers Hill, Birlingham, Worcs?
It comprises:- DH Vampire T11, Hawker Hunter, Jet Provost 3, Sea Hawk and a Gloster Meteor T7, all now in quite poor but saveable condition.
As things now stand, I have successfully negotiated to ‘broker’ the sale of all five – many others have asked over the years, and all such offers have been rejected by the owner, but luckily, my visit a few months ago caught Mr Revill in the right frame of mind, so wheels are in motion, literally.
The result so far has been the sale and removal of the Sea Hawk to East Midlands Aeropark under the new ownership of Dave Warren, and the Hunter has gone to Fishburn Airfield Museum under the tender care of Mike Eastman’s ‘Aircraft Restoration Group’.
This leaves the Provost, Meteor and Vampire, although the latter airframe is reserved for The Vampire Project in Bedfordshire, but cannot be moved off-site until we have bought and moved the JP and Meteor, both proposed to move to Wellesbourne Wartime Museum. To achieve this goal, we have raised a Crowdfunder appeal targeted to £12,000 to cover Mr Revill’s set purchase prices, plus transport costs and maybe a little left in the kitty to go toward starting the restoration work. This appeal is fully endorsed (but not financially sponsored by) Aviation Heritage UK, so it is a genuine non-profit appeal; all we desire is to see all the aircraft saved from risk of scrappage, which was a very real threat…
Therefore, if you would be so kind, could you possibly help us achieve our aims by donating to the appeal, linked below? All pledges will be very much appreciated – it runs until mid-January 2025, but ideally to hit the target sooner if possible, to take advantage of transport offers…

Notice that ‘Roadclosely’s’ post has a dodgy link made to look like the OP’s. Seem to remember this isn’t the first time this sort of thing has happened on this Forum with a new poster….
