Help!
I’m trying to get hold of a photo of RF-4C of the 363rd TRW which was at Alconbury for Salty Bee 1982. The serial number was 63-0363 tail Code JO. On the tail the 363 was enlarged and TRW added.
I’ve been corresponding with Dick Carr the pilot just recently in connection with an article I’m writing on the RF-4C at Alconbury.

Sure it wasn’t 69-0363?

69-0363 is correct. It was a RF-4C-42-MC.
The way the USAF abbreviates the aircraft’s full serial number can cause confusion.
