2 S of A = No2 School of Aeronautics (Brasenose College,Oxford ?)
47 Reserve Squadron = Cramlington
37 Reserve Squadron = Catterick (Higher Instruction = more advanced flying instruction)
(on Appointment as Flying Officer 17/4/17) = not a new rank but means he has been accepted officially as Aircrew.
36 Reserve Sqdn = Beverley
60 Reserve Sqdn = Beverley
21 Sqdn = France (RE8 a/c – Artillery spotting/recco)
Home Establishment (suitable as Flying Instructor)
(I think )Artillery and Infantry Cooperation School (Hursley Park/Worthy Down ??)
Reserve Squadrons were the Training Squadrons.
