Some more shots from the same photoshoot as the Bulldog. The weather unfortunately was pretty poor.

RE: RHKAAF Alouette & Islander
Whilst on that subject I found this Photo, alas not taken in Hong Kong but at North Weald. I wonder what happened to this Bulldog?

No just go low and slow , keep at right angles to the runway heading out to North Berwick , keep looking up because theres not going to be anyone below you , pass over the Comet and Vulcan , head for Berwick Law ( the BIG hill) wave up at the people on the top of the hill , when you hit the coast turn east and fly along the beach looking up at the dunes until you hit Aberlady Bay then fly a loop and go back the way you came, superb , you can still see all the tank traps and coastal defences ,pillboxs etc .Mega

So, go at a *really* quiet time and/or butter up ATC first…

Keithmac: those shots look like they were taken over Kowloon, I agree though, aerial shots are the best way to gain a better perspective of any flying machine!
Give me coffee and no-one gets hurt!

Getting shots from the air certainly gives you a different angle. I’ve got a good shot of a US Navy R6D-1, again at Kai Tak, but this time taken from a Whirlwind. I’ll dig it out and post it in the next couple of days.

Nice photos Keith , I wish I was a bit handier with a camera , when flying the normal downwind leg at East Fortune you fly directly over the Vulcan and Comet , it would make a nice alternative view , even better from about 100ft cutting straight through the circuit south to north , but that would be bad airmanship (would it ??).
