I wanted to add something to the Antalya trip this year. After looking at the map it became clear that Rhodes is not that far from Antalya.
Since Rhodes is part of Greece it offers a different mix of tourist from Turkey. Less heavy on the Russians and even some Italians and Israeli
are to be found here. After 3 days of Antalya we took the Thursday evening bus to Fethiye (3 hours and we even had catering on board) and
after an overnight stay in a hotel at the waterfront we took a 2 hour ferry to Rhodes on Friday morning.

Very nice selection and it looks like a good spot for shots with the sun in the right place. Good to see the Greek C130s still have some colour on them. So many air forces now are grey with two tone grey national insignia. Nice Israir and I see the El Al has a ku-band antenna housing on top so you can use your phone via satellite comms.

Hi Coolmore, these pictures were taking over a week-end. Friday from noon till Sunday evening dusk.
There are a lot of scandinavians at Rhodos, 5 Norwegians in a row on Saturday and almost 20 on the Sunday between 11.00 and 13.00 from T Cook scandinavian, Tui Nordic, Primera and Novair.
Also Aegean make several appearances a day.
