A final selection of images from the 2010 RIAT. The subject this time is aircraft that are (possibly) on their final visit (thus guaranteeing their attendance in 2011!)
Hopefully not the last F-4 but it deserves to headline this post. My first IAT was Greenham Common in 83, oh for a line of Phantoms like we had then.

Su-22, they are so rare that you never know! It may just be its last visit.

Retired shortly after RIAT, this was the final visit of the T-43. I have always liked the Pig so it was sad for me to watch it depart. It may very well be the last -200 Boeing 737 I see fly.

Tornado F3
We already knew that 2010 was to be the swansong of the Mighty Fin. Nice to see one fly in the Battle of Britain tribute.

Jetstream
After many years of faithful service the Jetstream has deserved its retirement. In the past we have been treated to a display but this time it was a static example.

A ever there are more images on MY BLOG which is where most of my photos will appear from now on.
I really enjoyed this years RIAT, the F-22 was quite superb but I think the highlight for me was the Harrier display. I had a hunch that it would be the last one I saw.
I hope you have enjoyed my selection of shots, thanks for looking.

A great post as always. The F-4 and SU-22 pix would be my favorites.
I enjoyed your retrospectives – a very nice tribute to the Harrier.
Cheers!
