I guess this was Sunday 19 July as the sky more than anything is the giveaway.
I saw this for real and took my own “noddy” pictures and video footage on both Sat 18 and Sunday 19. It was awesome.
The Vulcan XH558 is doing it’s last season in the air and after that it will retire to Doncaster where it will be available for “under wing tours” and powered taxiing along the runway.
I was lucky to get an “under wing tour” on Friday 17 July at RIAT
