Alex

Great shots there

I think you and I were in the same place as well as I have a lot of very similar shots to those!

I’ll get some of mine up from saturday and sunday in the coming days – including a big treat for me on sunday!

I was right at the Front. Only there for a little bit. I was wearing a black hoodie and some jeans.

There was someone near me wearing a blue tshirt. But not sure about cap. Did you take your son(if you have one) And put him on the ladder around the time the reds took off.

If it was you. You might of overheard that Dorset friend of friend calling them the Dead Sparrows:cool:

Cheers Josh! Yeah thats exactly where I went.

I had a blue t-shirt on with a brown cap. Just in front of me was a guy with a massive Nikon lens, plus a few foreign people to the right with 300mm 2.8 lenses.

Were you sharing a stepladder with someone? If so, I think it could have been you. Took a few shots of the crowd, so I’ll dig them out.

Great Shots Alex. I think you may have been near me. Was you on the Grass area near the Public Stand?

Ah… thanks for that Ken. I’m always getting mixed up with Military types so sorry for any confusion.

Alex,

Nice pics – just one observation – I hope you don’t mind.

The Indian AF Flankers were Su-30MKI – not Su-37.

It’s all explained in the brochure….http://mysite.wanadoo-members.co.uk/flankers_pages/su-27_variants.html 😀

Nice pics, everyone concerned, I was determined to go this year, but apart from madam and I coming down with some really stinking flu type virus, Fairford is a real pain to get to from here, can we have it back at Cottesmore.

Cracking shots mate.

I’ve just got in from the weekend at Fairford. Today~sunday was poor wx although the B-52 flew after its ejector seat problems.

Sat defo the best day, I was too far down on the right I think for the decent shots.

well have a look this week at my pics.

glad you took the steps 😉
