A new article here on The Vintage Aviation Echo – an interview with Richard Grace about restoring and flying the ex-‘Connie’ Edwards Buchóns, with insight into each of the four aeroplanes restored at Sywell. Thought it might appeal to the Buchón enthusiasts on the forum!

Prop Strike – Thank you kindly; it’s something that’s been asked a fair bit and we’ve discussed it. If there was sufficient demand, if we could square it away politically with the contributors (predominantly photographers), and if we could make it work financially, there’s definitely a good chance of it happening in future. That sounds like a lot of “ifs” but the big one is money. I’d hope it’s a concept we could seriously consider.

A very informative and well-presented piece. We are lucky indeed to have access to such an impressive vault of high quality aviation writing, with such spectacular photography.
An printed compendium of some of these articles would be most desirable, surely?
Thanks again Elliott.

That was a fantastic article Elliot, bravo to yourself and the photogs – what a great look at the machine. I’m probably going to read it again this weekend.
