Richard L. Ward

Really sorry to hear that. Richard supplied some amazing photos to various sources, and although I never met him we did correspond on occasion.
My respects to his family and friends.

Very sad to be the bearer of sad news that my long-standing good friend, Dick Ward died early on Sunday (12th Nov.) morning after a short illness

Anyone heard from Dick Ward recently? I haven’t heard anything in a long time and I’m wondering if he’s sold off some/all of his photo collection as I’ve seen some of his images on sale on Ebay?

IIRC there were two Richard L Wards, one who did Modeldecals and the other (Richard Leask Ward) who did profiles for Aircam etc.

I can put you in touch with the former.

I think you’ll find it is the other way around – Richard Leask Ward did Modeldecals (and I am in e.mail contact with him, if you send me a pm) and the other Richard Ward did the Aircams.

That would be appreciated. The one i am trying to contact has in the past supplied photos for at least one book on the Wyvern.

Dick Ward (Richard L Ward) produced a large number of Decal sheets under the Modeldecal trade name. Might be an idea to ask on Britmodeller or Hyperscale.
