Richie Havens, the folk singer who opened the legendary 1969 Woodstock rock festival, has died of a heart attack at 72.

A very sad loss!
Despite being into Heavy/Death/Thrash/Post/Industrial Metal, and as a Guitarist playing such kinds of music. Richie Havens was, and still is an inspiration. A great musician, singer and song writer and someone whom never got enough credit for what he achieved. This gentleman will be greatly missed.
