Same trip as previous – excellent museum although could do with being brighter inside. Was there on a airshow day so a couple of the pictures were just visitors.

The red meteor and the twin hull aircraft were taken in the Sao Paulo museum which was actually closed but the group were able to get inside. Unfortunatley there was no power so was very dark with the lower level below ground with just a few high level windows to provide some light. I think there was a DHC1 as well but it would have been too dark to photograph.

Great photos of a wonderful collection.
If they have all these aircraft in this museum, I wonder how much is in other locations in Brazil – whether under preservation or perhps in the jungle, etc. In fact that goes for all of South America – not an area we seem to hear much from when it comes to aviation preservation.

That P-47 looks great and I spied an ultra-rare C-82, but is that T-6 “US Navy” colour scheme authentic ?
