Hi forum readers,
Was wondering if one of the forum readers here has the book “Rise and Defend: The USAF at Manston 1950-1958”.
According my records a couple of the “European” USAF AT-6Fs was based there, with 406FBW, in the fifties.
44-81727, becoming D-FATI; accident at Manston 1953/08/10
44-81730, becoming F-BJBU
44-81777, becoming spare for Air France?
44-81785, becoming D-FAMU; accident at Manston 1952/04/25
Are any of those (or others?) mentioned in the book; in reading or with a photo?
Thanks in advace for getting back to me.
BTW, another post from me about these T-6s can be found here :
Regards,
Benno
