RMAF set to received more helos.

RMAF will received 2 AGUSTA A109 and 2 more MIL 17V in the next few months.This will not include the 10 MIL 17V ordered recently from Russia.(it will be operated by the RMAF for a few months before being handed over to the Army Air Wing).The new AGUSTA/MIL 17 will be used by the Fire and Rescue Services for fire fighting/rescue operations-but all aspect of flying/maintainance will be done by the RMAF.The MIL 17V will be fitted with S.African made FLIR turret for night operation purposes.With this latest addition -Fire and Rescue Services will utilised 4 MIL 17V(the first 2 were delivered in 1998).
