RNAS Yeovilton International Air Show pics 13-07-2019

Very much enjoyed the show. Particularly the helicopters they were real close.

Weather was quite bright much of the time though very little in the way of actual sunshine.

I arrived very early outside but despite that, I did not find myself at the front.

It was rather frustrating to find even more land was taken up by marquee enclosures right to the left of me with two Helicopters taking up much of the space, otherwise I would have got a spot at the front.

However, I am quite tall and I managed to position myself by the side fence by the said marquee and some yards from the the front of the crowd line. Nobody from the marquee even bothered to venture towards the fence for most of the day which meant that I could still get clear landing shots to the left and a few in between heads shots to my right.

There has been plenty of comments of people pushing and shoving to get a better view along the crowd line. I saw evidence of this as well.

The real issue is that this is a very populer airshow but there is now too little ordinary crowd line length due to the higher number of marquees taking up space.
