Seen on A1 north near Boroughbridge on Wednesday morning:
A helicopter cockpit section, red,white and blue c/s. Looking tatty so probably historic(!).

I only caught a glimpse of it from the S-bound carriageway so not sure of type apart from it being broad of beam.

You cannot call it a Flypast or drive past if it involves travelling near any built up areas. The CAA will have you by the crotch straps.
