Hi All,
Does anyone know the current status of P-51s “IDF 28” and “IDF 146” that were brought in the U.K. in the late 70s, along with “IDF 43” (now flying as Miss Helen, as she did 60 years ago), and “IDF 41” currently being restored in the USA?
TIA.
Laurent

Hello BlueNoser352,
The Mustangsmustangs forum is one of my favorite also, but I wanted to post here first as the airframes are still supposed to be in the U.K. at the moment, I thought I could be luckier here, which is not the case unfortunately.
In fact, I’m living a few miles north of Paris. Let me know when you come, if you are interested to see a BLUE Avro Lancaster 😀
Cheers,
Laurent

LaurentB:
Bonjour : !
Is you don’t get the answer here and you most likely will with this outstanding group of avaition historians. Try www.mustangsmustangs.com a great place for info on the P-51. The 352nd is my favorite group and have been doing research on them for sometime. A few years ago at a 352nd reunion in England, one of the veterans got a ride on Rob Lamplough’s P-51 ! I see you live in Paris…great city and I look forward to coming back soon. Like London…a great walking city with history at every turn !
All The Best!
