I am not sure if we have done something on this previously .I did a search but could not bring anything up so I apologise if I am repeating something.
As Peregrines are rarer than hens gold fillings .The engines are basicaly so I understand a Kestrel 3 with a supercharger and uprated front casing.
We would be very interested to know of any Kestrels around or components that would assist in our project. We are doing a lot of CAD work currently and other work in preparation for atarting the build. We already have a fair bit of the cockpit detail and a lot of instruments etc.We have access to some wreckage material and a main undercarriage gear. But Engines are a bit of a vague area we of course do have access to a couple of crash site engines recovered some time ago but with the project obviously the more material we can find the better. And of course the more parts mean the more complete our aircraft can be.
There are also a number of Whirlwind wrecks in the sea and we have tried to obtain information from the diving fraternaty but got very little response. We know of at Least 3 Whirlwinds off St Brelaides bay in Jersey in the Channel Islands and we are aware that they have been dived on but no one is forthcoming with information. If anyone has any contacts in the diving fraternity that may help it would be appreciated.
Any assistance greatly appreciated to help our project come to fruition.
