Rolls Royce Nimbus

I got a request off a mate the other night, and I can’t help him, so I thought I’d give the might of the collective a go…

He has aquired a RR Nimbus (as fitted to Scout/Wasp) and is looking for some engine gauges to allow him to run it. He is looking for the following :- RPM gauge, TGT gauge, oil pressure and oil temp gauges. Does anyone out there have any idea where he may be able to get hold of any other these?

Ta very much for any info provided.

Dees 😮

There’s a Scout/Wasp maintenance company based at Thruxton, perhaps they would be worth a go?

It would make a great emergency generator for power cuts!
(probably a bit noisier than a Honda 4 stroke though…) 😀

Cheers Bograt. I thought about that, but I reckoned Everett would want megabucks for anything. I’ve passed the info on anyway…

Everett Aero’s got to be the first place to try. V. Big in Westland Scouts. I won’t post a link so as not to be misconstrued as advertising, but it’s easy enough to find on the web.
