Rolls Royce Wins Virgin 787 Engine Deal

As the title thread suggests..

I maybe wrong, but i thought Virgin Signed up with GE for the 787, because it was going to help with the Bio-fuels/enviroment saver technology?

I Didn’t know about the rumours of another model order.
But I knew the rumours of them dropping the 787 were nonsense.
This article now firmly puts them in the absurd category.

There has never been any question of it being dropped from within. In fact there are also strong rumours of another Boeing order for a different type.

further concretion of the fact Virgin are getting the 787.

People have been chatting away convinced they’ed drop it and switch completely to the A350-ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ
