Our good-bye to the Pope
In the memory of the various flights made by His Holiness through the Roman airports, the Company Aeroporti di Roma joins the sorrow of the worldwide Christianity for the death of Pope John Paul II.
ADR informs that, due to the arrival in Rome of many Heads of State and pilgrims coming for the last homage to his Holiness John Paul II, Rome Ciampino Airport will be closed from 07.00 p.m. of April 7th till 24.00 of 8th April.
At Fiumicino airport from 10,00 of April 7th till 24,00 of April 8th there could be limitations of capacity of the 30% for the arrival flights only. Except from 7,00-9,59 of friday April 8th in which at Fiumicino airport only international flights shall be guaranteed
Several flights from the UK tomorrow morning have already been cancelled.
