Particularly this paragraph:
“Rosetta’s meeting with [the comet] Churyumov-Gerasimenko is set for the May of 2014.
The probe will go into orbit around the 4km-wide ball of ice and dust and place a small lander called Philae on its surface.”
I hadn’t realised that such a complex mission was even possible.
